I noticed that the paper schedule for Gold's Gym classes doesn't include a description of Restorative Yoga. The back of the schedule includes several short paragraphs describing several types of yoga, but those names don't match the current yoga class names on the front of the schedule. Revising that sheet to include a short paragraph defining what restorative yoga is would help communicate more to Gold's members of why they might be interested in trying the class.
The short explanations Carol says at the start of any class where there are first timers (usually every class) are a good model for what could be written on that schedule sheet.

Another possible description is from the PJCC site where Carol co-teaches.
"Restorative Yoga – (Best for combatting stress) Relax, recharge and renew. Props are used to support the body so it can hold “asanas” (poses) longer and with little or no physical effort. These poses are sequenced and designed to enhance the restorative and rejuvenating functions of the body and mind. Appropriate for all levels of fitness."
